Kupu is a Hawaii based 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose main purpose is to provide job training and educational programming in a service learning setting. Participants of Kupu programming contribute to natural resource and environmental management, energy efficiency and renewable resource and green job training. Hawaii Youth Conservation Corps a division of Kupu provides over 300 positions each year in the natural resource field. Each year the Hawaii Youth Conservation Corps alone provides around $7.3 million in benefits to the community. Each dollar donated here will go to supporting Kupu and its mission of providing programming to enable young adults to protect Hawaii’s unique environment and become sustainable, while equipping participants with skills needed for future careers and educational opportunities. For each dollar received, Kupu has generated almost a threefold return in benefits to the surrounding community, environment, and youth whom Kupu serves.
