Community Assistance Program

Position Description: The Hawaii Youth Conservation Corps (HYCC) Community Assistance Program (CAP) is an experiential education and community service opportunity for volunteers, and organizations in need. CAP is intended to reward outstanding volunteers who serve at least 300 hours by offering them an AmeriCorps $1,000 education upon completion of service. This program also aims to assist organizations by providing them with additional work assistance and an opportunity to serve as mentors to future natural resource professionals. 

 Program Benefits: Organizations may apply for as many educational awards as desired.  Education awards are $1,000 AmeriCorps awards that recipients can put towards school loans or future schooling. Volunteers will receive a $1,000 AmeriCorps education award upon successful completion of 300 work hours with your organization.
