Where Mission Meets Place: Kupu at Harbor Court
Kupu officially moved into our new home at Harbor Court in downtown Honolulu — a space that reflects our mission to serve Hawai‘i’s people and places with care and connection. This move was made possible through the incredible generosity and partnership of our community. Together, we’ve created a welcoming and intentional space where our team, partners, and program participants can come together to continue nurturing Hawai‘i’s land and future generations.
Mahalo nui to the partners who helped bring this vision to life:
‘Io Conference Room — The ALTRES Foundation
Kupukupu Conference Room — Island Insurance, Hawai‘i Gas, AES Hawai‘i Foundation, MacNaughton Foundation, Central Pacific Bank
Aloha Cafe — ALOHA

Manu-o-kū Office Pod — PASHA Hawai‘i
Pueo Double Office Pod — Finance Factors Family of Companies
ʻAkoʻakoʻa Office Pod — Finance Factors Family of Companies

Each space within Harbor Court carries meaning and intention thanks to the support of these partners.
Art That Tells Our Story
We’re proud to also feature a symbolic artwork by Hawai‘i artist, Kupu staff member, and alumna Luana Low, which adorns the front doors of our Kupukupu Conference Room. Her piece illustrates the interconnectedness of our work and community through imagery of land, ocean, and sky. The artwork depicts three waterfalls — representing Kupu, Pono Pacific, and Poukihi — flowing together through the landscape and into the ocean. Above, Manu o Kū soar alongside an ʻIo, while a fruitful ʻulu tree and a thriving keiki symbolize growth and renewal. Even the pūhala sends its roots deeper into the land, reflecting our shared commitment to establishing strong foundations.
The swirling ocean currents mirror the skies above, inspired by the prophecy of Kapihe: “E iho ana o luna, e pi‘i ana o lalo, e hui ana nā moku, e kū ana ka paia.” The above shall descend, the below shall rise, the islands shall meet, and the walls shall stand together. This vision inspires our daily work to strengthen Hawai‘i and the wider Pacific community.

Mahalo to everyone who helped make Harbor Court our new home — and to all who continue to support our mission of empowering Hawai‘i’s youth, protecting our environment, and building a more resilient future.
